About us

Hohoe Christian Orphans’ Home (HCOH) is a non-profit, volunteer-run non-governmental organisation that was established in 2003 by Nicholas Abibu Koku Victus to help the under-privileged children of the Volta Region in Ghana, particularly those residing in the Hohoe district. We have identified over 6,000 neglected orphans and children in the Hohoe District. Most of these children are child labourers or teenage mothers, many of whom live on the streets and face dangers that no child should ever be subject to.

The mission of the Hohoe Christian Orphans’ Home is to provide these children with care, love, education, and employable skills, so that they may be able to provide for themselves and contribute to their communities in the future.

Please take a moment to look around our site and get to know our children and then spread the word. Every little bit helps.
